The TWENTY-SIXTH Meeting of the ITSO Advisory Committee (IAC-26) was held at the American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. during the period 26–27 March 2026.
The Committee elected Mr. Douglas C. May from the Party of the United States of America as Chair to preside the meeting and Mr. Flavien Bachabi from the Party of Benin was elected Vice-Chair.
The IAC-26 meeting was attended by 48 representatives from 20 IAC Member Parties and 9 Parties as observers (Angola, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Gabon, Greece, Italy, Madagascar, Peru, United Kingdom).
During the meeting, the Committee reviewed developments in the satellite communications sector and discussed matters related to ITSO’s mandate to ensure global, non-discriminatory access to satellite telecommunications services.
