Uganda Joins Forces with INTELSAT, ITSO and MTN
The Honorable Mr. Frank Tumwebaze, Minister of ICT of Uganda, the Director General of ITSO, Patrick Masambu, Mr. Godfrey Mutabazi, Executive Director of the UCC, and Mr. Stephen Spengler, CEO of Intelsat announced the launch of the ITSO-UCC-Intelsat Pilot for Remote Connectivity in Uganda. They were joined at the launch event by the Members of the ICT Committee of Parliament and Mr. Wim Vanhelleputte CEO of MTN Uganda.
The Twenty-First Meeting of the ITSO Advisory Committee (IAC-21)
The TWENTY-FIRST meeting of the ITSO Advisory Committee (IAC-21) was called to order on 8 February at 0930 Hours by the Director General, Mr. Patrick Masambu. The IAC-21 meeting was attended by 34 delegates representing 18 IAC member Parties. Delegates from the Parties of Armenia, Malaysia, Monaco, Turkey and Uganda also attended the meeting as observers.

The Director General of the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (ITSO) has the honor to inform the Parties constituting the ITSO Advisory Committee (IAC) that the Twenty First Meeting of the ITSO Advisory Committee (IAC-21) is scheduled for 8-9 February 2018. The meeting will start at 9.30 am on the 8th of February and will take place at American University Washington College of Law, located at 4300 Nebraska Avenue, NW, Yuma Building, Washington, DC 20016.
Ninth Tripartite Meeting Among Intergovernmental Satellite Organizations
Washington D.C., October 20, 2017 – The Ninth Tripartite Meeting of the Heads of the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (ITSO), the International Mobile Satellite Organization (IMSO) and the European Telecommunications Satellite Organization (EUTELSAT IGO), took place on 20 October 2017 in Washington, D.C. Hosted by Mr. Patrick Masambu, Director General of ITSO, the meeting was attended by Captain Moin Ahmed, Director General of IMSO and Mr. Piotr Dmochowski-Lipski, Executive Secretary of EUTELSAT IGO. ITSO Director of Legal Affairs, Ms. Renata Brazil David, also participated in the meeting.
